Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal data as possible. Specifically:

• Analytics data. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless service. It records aggregated, anonymised usage (pages viewed, referrer, approximate country, device type, and campaign/UTM tags) and does not track you across sites or build a personal profile.
• Notification preferences. If you enable live match alerts, your choice and the browser permission are stored locally on your device. We do not receive your identity through this feature.
• Messages you send us. If you email or contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide.

We do not require accounts, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age required by your local law.

Cookies and local storage

Our analytics provider does not use cookies. We use your browser’s local storage only to remember on-device preferences (such as your theme choice, alert settings, and prediction votes). These never leave your device and are not used for tracking or advertising.

How we use information

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties who process limited data on our behalf or provide content, including analytics and hosting (Vercel), football data providers (API-Football, football-data.org), and AI analysis (Anthropic). Each operates under its own privacy terms. If we introduce advertising in future, this policy will be updated to describe the relevant providers and your choices before any such tracking begins.
